2013 David Jones Cup – 29 Nominations Taken

Nominations have been released for the Group 3 David Jones Cup, which is set to run at Caulfield Racecourse this Saturday October 19, 2013.

A total of 29 horses have been nominated for the 2013 David Jones Cup, including Honorius.

Honorius has won four of his 23 race starts and has earned more than $465,000 in prize money during her horse racing career.

The four-year-old won his last start in the Group 3 Craven Plate at Royal Randwick Racecourse on October 5, 2013.

Honorius is trained by David Payne at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse and will be having his fifth spring start in the 2013 David Jones Cup.

Kesampour is also included in the 2013 David Jones Cup final field and barrier draw acceptances.

The four-year-old has won four of his nine race starts and has earned more than $350,000 in prize money.

Kesampour will be having just his fourth Australian race start in the 2013 David Jones Cup and will be looking to score his first race win.

The King’s Best entire is now trained by Peter Moody at Caulfield and will have the home track advantage in the 2013 David Jones Cup.

Kesampour’s most recent result was a fifth placing in the Group 2 Herbert Power Stakes behind Sea Moon last weekend.
